UK BREATH CLINIC OPENS IN MANCHESTER!
Our internationally acclaimed Probiotic Breath Clinic - protocol and product – will be available in the United Kingdom for the first time ever following an amazing response received at our other clinics across the globe.
As of 27 April, 2009 our first ever UK Breath Clinic will open its doors and offer access to the internationally acclaimed K12 probiotic oral care system that has successfully treated halitosis sufferers around the world for the last six years. This solution – known as KFORCE – is able to achieve a minimum 95 per cent success rate in the ongoing treatment of mild to chronic bad breath.
The clinic, located in Manchester City Centre, is the first in a rollout of clinics planned for the UK and is being spearheaded by leading UK Dentist, Dr Lance Knight of the Ultimate Smile Spa. The UK Breath Clinic is the centre’s fifth breath clinic and follows in the footsteps of its global peers in Australia (2), Singapore and Malaysia.
“From humble beginnings at our flagship Breezecare Breath Clinic in Sydney Australia, we are pleased to say that all diagnostics, protocol and products remain unique to our clinics and are not available from any retail outlet anywhere,” Dr Geoffrey Speiser, Founder.
The UK Breath Clinic, along with its global counterparts, offers the only test in the UK that harnesses oral gas diagnostic technology, otherwise known as Halicheck, to pinpoint the specific volatile gases that constitute bad breath. Previously bad breath could only be analysed subjectively through smell or basic tests, at this time there were no tests that could measure all the bad breath gases individually.
The Breath Clinic’s breath program comprises a Balance Biofilm Cleanser to remove coatings from the teeth, gums and tongue followed by a Breath Guard Oral Gel to clean the tongue and teeth surfaces. A Breath Guard K12 Probiotic places healthy bacteria to control the mouth flora, a Sinoclear Hypertonic Flush removes new mucous from the throat and an Orasweet Tongue Cleaner completes the process by properly clean sulphur compounds from the tongue.
Patients to The UK Breath Clinic in Manchester will receive a three-pronged treatment covering: diagnosis – using a Halicheck gas chromo graph and saliva examination to ascertain pH acid levels, saliva volume and buffering capacity; balance – balancing the mouth and throat bacteria using scientifically proven products; and maintenance – restoring and maintaining a healthy balance of good bacteria through the use of K12.
Dr Knight has been fully trained in Breezecare Breath Clinic product and protocol and as a highly specialist leader in his field, we are extremely confident that our UK customers will enjoy an excellent service from Lance and his esteemed team. Existing customers can continue to purchase product from our websites www.breezecare.co.uk or newly established: www.ukbreathclinic.co.uk.
But how did this all begin? Dr Geoffrey Speiser shares all…
BreezeCare was established in 1997 as an Internet solution to bad breath; however, through a growing active patient database that encouraged patients to share their feedback on the products and their effectiveness, the BreezeCare Product Range was really continuing to develop.
The BreezeCare system is based on accurate diagnosis of halitosis through the use of a Halicheck Chromography machine with a follow up consultation to determine the particular causes of the patient’s exact problem A detox program to remove old coatings from the tongue, teeth, gums and throat as well as bad breath bacteria is then undertaken for 5 to 10 days and followed up by a maintenance program using the power of KForce K12 Probiotics. This amazing probiotic was discovered at Otago University and has been shown to successfully control the mouth bacteria and maintain mouth harmony with an unrivalled 95 percent success rate in all cases.
Through the use of the BreezeCare System we began treating patients at our flagship clinic in Sydney and in no time at all we had established our second clinic in Melbourne servicing the needs of our South Australian audience. Our collective of breath centres of excellence was really expanding and within 12 months we had established subsequent clinics in Malaysia and Singapore at which fully trained dentists, and leaders in their field, deliver our proven protocol and product to a client base that is continually amazed at the results of our breath and probiotics treatments. Following several years of hard work and commitment to research and development we are pleased to report that the BreezeCare system is now the premium bad breath product available in Australia, and we are confident we can achieve this level of success in the UK also.
ABOUT KFORCE K12 PROBIOTICS
In 2004 we were approached by Blis Technologies - a New Zealand public company with research backing from Otago University - to become the exclusive distributor of the BLIS K12 Streptococcus salivarius treatments for Halitosis and from this we branded the K12 range as KForce Breath Guard. The KForce K12 Probiotic is a natural bacterium that lives on the tongue surface and is only found in 2% of the world’s population, generally those of us that rarely suffer from illnesses. Many studies have shown that S.salivarius is the dominant bacteria in people with fresh breath, and as such, is typically absent in people with bad breath.
The unique KForce K12 Probiotic is able to produce two defensive peptides called Salivaricin that can attack bad breath bacteria and stop them colonising the mouth to cause bad breath. Just recently this unique KForce K12 Probiotic has shown the ability to stop the inflammatory reaction that happens in many mouth diseases by attaching itself to the mouth cell lining and changing the immune response. Further research is being done on this aspect of the probiotic to see if this characteristic may be beneficial in helping prevent, or heal, mouth diseases such as periodontitis.
The association between Blis Technologies, Otago University and BreezeCare has continued to develop, with BreezeCare now participating in BLIS K12 ongoing research. BLIS K12 bad breath treatments have proven to be so successful that they have been featured across Australia’s leading media including revered TV shows, "60 Minutes" and "A Current Affair" in Australia. ABOUT DR GEOFFREY SPEISER
I graduated from Sydney University in 1980 and have spent the last 29 years building up a wealth of experience in dentistry and gaining, more recently, a special interest in bad breath and halitosis
Following a two-year stint at a general dental practice in Canberra I went on to establish two dental practices in Sydney's eastern and southern suburbs, merging these two practices in 2003 to create a new state of the art facility in Edgecliff, Sydney. The practice is centrally located on the train line, and is accessible to all of the Sydney metropolitan area.
I had, however, observed in my years of practice that whilst many people suffer from the embarrassing condition of bad breath and halitosis, there were very few treatments available for these long-term chronic sufferers. In 1997, I began to associate with researchers to develop a breath system that would address this very issue and it was here that my career in the treatment of bad breath started.
Aside from treating dental and breath clients, I am also an advisor for Allexperts.com - an Internet site that offers free advise for health problems – which receives over 2,500 hits per day from people searching common problems such as bad breath/halitosis, post nasal drip, dry mouth, sour taste and taste disorders, ulcers and sores of the mouth and tongue.
